metronidazole
n.
a drug used to treat infections of the urinary, genital, and digestive systems (such as trichomoniasis, Helicobacter pylori infection, amoebiasis, and giardiasis), acute ulcerative gingivitis, fungating wounds, and rosacea. It is administered by mouth, in suppositories, by infusion, or topically; side-effects include digestive upsets and an unpleasant taste in the mouth.

Anabact, Flagyl, Metrogel, Metrolyl, Metrosa, Metrotop, Noritate, Rozex, Zyomet.
